PVC Drop Wire

The PVC Drop Wire is used in telephone connectivity. It is available in an oval shape to ensure proper conductor field separation. These wires consist of two round solid copper covered steel conductors that serve both as electrical conductors and strength members.

It offers excellent tensile strength, conductivity and elongation properties. The bonding of insulation with the conductor is controlled to ensure that the full conductor strength is transferred to the wire support clamp. These wires are resistant to conductor damage, insulation wear and have minimal chances of breakage.

The cable does not burn within the first 60 seconds and provides a longer service life compared to conventional drop wires.
